News on Our Carol Service and Social 15/12/06
We had our annual Advent Carol Service and Christmas Social on Friday 15th December. It was well attended this year which was really wonderful. The Social afterwards made £486.60 (including a donation of £150 from one of the Departments at Slough Borough Council). £372.00 was collected the previous week in the second collection, so a cheque for £858.60 was delivered to SHOC along with several boxes of food, toiletries and clothes for which they were very grateful. A big thank you to all who helped in any way!

Money Raised! - Monday, February 26, 2007
Peter has now collected over £940 for CAFOD through his sponsored trek! Well done to Peter and a big thank you to all for your generosity. The money is sure to transform the lives of many people in need! He is willing to hold an evening where he would talk and show slides of his adventures. If you are interested please let us know.

Himalayan Trek 12/12/06
 Peter Gutteridge has now successfully completed his month-long Himalayan Trek - a remarkable feat at any age but especially at 75! He said that the mountain tempoerature was -200C! Well done! If you sponsored Peter for CAFOD please place the money in a clearly-marked envelop with your name on and hand it in to Peter, Fr. Dave, Fr. Paddy, Maria or Henryk. Thank you.
