This Sunday, 25th November, is the Feast of Christ the King. It is the last Sunday of the Liturgical Year. It is designated National Youth Sunday. There will be a special Mass organised by our young people at 6:30pm with a cake sale afterwards for CAFOD. Please support them with your prayers, coming to the Mass and also making and buying cakes. The Confimation candidates for this year will also be enrolled at this Mass.

October is a special month for the recitation of the rosary, however, it is good to say it all year round. It was traditionally a great family prayer. You will find many links under the heading 'The Liturgical Year' above if you need help with praying it.

Month of the Holy Souls Minimize

In the month of November we especially remember and pray for all those who have died; family, friends, colleagues and those who have lost their lives in the many conflicts around the world.

MAY THEIR SOULS,

AND THE SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED,

REST IN PEACE,

AMEN

There is a list of those who have died in St. Ethelbert's Parish this year in a frame in front of the altar and you may write names of loved ones on paper and place it in the basket in front of the altar. They will be prayed for throughout November at all Masses and services.
